Traditional handcrafted red ,green heavy beaded lacquer pendant necklace set with pair of earrings.
The set is designed to give an ethnic look with the mono of Indian national bird 'peacock'.
What is Lacquer jewellery? It is an art form practiced in Rajasthan and involves fusing lacquer(a natural extract) which comprises the engraved design with beaten metal sheet.
When set, the plaques can be joined together to form a necklace or is used singly in the form of pendants and earrings.
Final jewellery takes shape when coordinated with multi coloured beads to give a royal look.
While the final product looks very glamorous, with engraved designs as the motifs, the process involved is both elaborate and requires skilful precision.
